What Is Tea Tree Used for Today?
Tea tree oil can kill many bacteria, viruses, and fungi on contact. 1 This makes it an antiseptic, like betadine, hydrogen peroxide, and many other essential oils . It is not an antibiotic in the common sense, because an antibiotic is absorbed throughout the body.
Preliminary double-blind studies suggest that tea tree oil might be useful for athlete's foot and other fungal infections of the skin and nails. 2 One double-blind study found tea tree oil helpful for acne . 3 Another double-blind study found that tea tree oil gel may reduce gum inflammation in people with periodontal disease . 4 A single-blind study found evidence that tea tree oil may be helpful for dandruff . 5 Tea tree oil may be as effective as standard antiseptics for removing resistant strains of staph bacteria from the skin of hospitalized patients. 6 7 Note: This does not mean tea tree oil is effective as an antibioticfor staph bacteria. It is an antiseptic. Antiseptics work on the surface of the body, while antibiotics work from within.
Additionally, tea tree oil has been proposed as a treatment for vaginal infections , thrush, and oral herpes (cold sores). 8 However, there is no reliable evidence to indicate that it is effective for these purposes.

My name is Olisa Blessing, I am so glad. I never think I will be this active again in my existence. I have worked as an air hostess ( cabin crew ) for 3years but early this year, I lost my job because of this deadly disease called Herpes virus (HSV). I never felt sick or notice any symptoms. Not until the day all workers were asked to bring their doctors report card, that was how I got tested and I found out that I'm HSV positive and that made me lose my job because it was considered as an STD and is an incurable disease. I was so depressed that I started thinking of suicide. I explained my situation to an older friend of mine, who often said to me 'a problem shared is a problem half solved. She felt so pity for me that she referred me to Dr. Utu Herbal Cure, that was how I contacted Dr. Utu and got the medication from him and was cured for real. I went back to my work a month later with another HSV negative test result and they carried out another test to be very sure and they found out I am negative. Finally, the initial test was replaced with a negative result and my position was restored to me with an apology letter and a salary increment. Beware of impersonators, Dr. Utu can only be reached at: drutuherbalcure@gmail.com
