Ineffective. I needed increased CPAP pressure. Caused impaired function in the soft palate and muscles of the throat (called velopharyngeal insufficiency), which can make it difficult to keep liquids out of the airway. No longer able to produce gutteral sounds, e.g. French "R" and German "kh".

Has tried it
I was so excited about the chance to stop using the CPAP machine, that I readily agreed to have the procure done. Today, I got the news that it didn't work. I am devastated. What can be done now?
