Is ADHD a real diagnosis?

Yes and no. Although most people in the medical community view ADHD as a real diagnosis, some have suggested that the disorder is more or less a sham, born out of a cultural need for children to behave a certain way. Others suggest that ADHD is the result of the need for pharmaceutical companies to make money.
