Everyone expresses depression differently, though there are some commonly exhibited symptoms among each gender. Women are often said to exhibit their depression by sleeping and eating more as well as feeling excessive guilt. Men on the other hand can become easily agitated and overly involved in an activity (like work or a hobby) often to deny their sadness. You can read more about each gender's depression at Women's Depression and Men's Depression.
