The only thing that has ever worked for my migraines are prescription meds. A few years on Imitrex and then I started having to double up on those (which isnt good) so we swiched to Maxalt. BUT even though I havent gotten any other aspirin or non-prescription drug to work on my headaches, every once in a while a 500mg dose of Naproxin will work if it isnt too bad and I catch it early enough. That dosage is prescription only but you can take two 220mg Alieve, which is also Naproxen. Just make sure there is food in your stomach.
