I've had a magnetic mattress and mattress pads for years. I also really like the magnetic pillows. There are comforters that have magnets in them too. If you're concerned about the price of the mattress perhaps it makes sense to invest in a pillow or mattress pad first to try it out.

My evidence is empirical. I feel rebalanced and refreshed after sleeping with magnetic products. The magnets help to promote relaxation, rebalance and sleep that is refreshing.

I was skeptical that most magnet therapy products would not have enough benefits to justify the cost. My years of investigation proved this to be true. But magnet therapy dose work if applied properly with magnets of sufficient strength. I obtain commercial neodymium magnets 1/4 inch thick one inch to 3 inches in diameter depending on the area and depth to be treated. I consider the mechanism of the treatment to be that the magnets speed up the electrons in water molecules so that they become more active in body function. As a massage therapist I find that most pain originates where fluids have been blocked and application of the magnets speeds up recovery of normal circulation. To explain this further I have started a website magnet-therapy-how-why.com Hans Albert Quistorff, LMP Antalgic Posture Pain Specialist

I have recently bought a magnetic cough to reduce my elbow pain. It was really helpful, but I'm not sure whether it has side effects or not.

It should not have side effects. If the cuff itself iritates the skin ore the magnets are turned around so that the stimulating side rather than the calming side is toward the elbow it could be a problem with long treatment time. Remember the magnets are an aid to function of the fluids at the site of treatment. You may need the assistance of a therapist with tension coming from a distance away from the elbow.
