I had MUCH fewer and less intense hot flashes after using Genistein. I do use 4X the recommended dose of one tab per day.

I have been taking icool for a couple of months now. It works great for me. No more night sweats and very few hot flashes during the day. I am having some strange side effects and I am not sure if it is the icool or an interaction with other medications that I take.

I have been taking the "Stay-Cool" Walgreens brand of geniVida Genistein for 15 days. I have seen a reduction of the hot flashes during the day. However, night time sweats are still a problem for me. It's also not helping with the "Feel more energized and less tired" claim on the box. It also claims to "Reduce sleeplessness". I haven't seen anything one way or another because of the night sweats waking me up. So, it's still a wait and see for me. I will finish the 30 day supply and see. I bought 2 boxes, "Buy one get one 50% off". So since I have 60 days, I will stick with it. In the mean time, my bedside fan is still going all night!

I've just started taking i~cool. I have been on it for two weeks now and I am seeing a big difference. I use to wake up to headache's every morning. Hot flashes at night, wake up with my bed soaked. Now, I haven't had any since taking the i~cool. "Every" woman is different, it may take four weeks for some woman and maybe 1 - 2wks for a woman that is taking the i~cool to over come the "hot flashes".

I haven't been on Stay Cool long enough to be able to tell is it's working yet. But, has anyone experienced an itching side effect? I'm trying to figure out which of the meds I'm on is causing all-over itching.

I used genistein for weight-loss and lipolysis properties, and at doses of .5 to 1 gram daily found it effective and safe. Above 2 grams I experienced extra and lengthened menstruation effects. I'm a very healthy 53 year old female at normal slender weight.

AMAZING HOW QUICKLY IT STARTED WORKING.I WAS HAVING HOT FLASHES ONE AFTER ANOTHER BOTH DAY AND NIGHT. INSOMNIA.....CONSTANT TOSSING AND TURNING WITH ICE PACKS AND A FAN BUT STILL SOAKED WITH SWEAT. THAT HAS ALL STOPPED. HOWEVER NOW MY BLOOD PRESSURE IS RUNNING A LITTLE HIGHER THAN NORMAL . NOT SURE IF THE 2 ARE RELATED. ANYONE HAVE THOUGHTS ON THAT?
