Last Sept., I tested positive for Chronic Borrelia burgdorferi and babesiosis. Initially I took doxycycine and other herbals prescribed by an Osteopath who also specializes in treatment of Lyme Disease. After three months she took me off the doxycline and prescribed Cefuroxime axtel and Hydroxychloroquine. About two months ago, I began taking Samento (recommended by anothe Lyme specialist). Since taking Samento, I have had a great reduction in knee swelling and arthritic pain. I also feel it increased my energy level. I have read Stephen Buhner's book "Healing Lyme" and I find it absolutely amazing. This should be read by EVERY doctor in America, most of whom have NO experience or understanding of the intensity of Lyme infections. I know this because I spent 12 years going to doctors to get to the bottom of my severe symptoms. Somehow the information about this disease, co-infections etc. MUST be made public.
