I too have been on it for years but had to stay on regular Ambien because with Ambien CR, I did have sleep walking side effects. With my CIDP, I have been unable to sleep because of muscle spasms and pain. Ambien is the only way I get a decent night sleep. I take a half to whole pill depending on what I feel I need that night. I haven't had to increase my dose at all to achieve sleep.

... (more)I was wiped out a day or two after treatment. My nurse explained that your body goes into overdrive to replace what it has lost from the exchange so you are using more energy. Also, just tired from anxiety from treatment and from CIDP. My treatment did not last as long as IVIG but had less side effects.

... (more)But I experienced citrate poisoning so make sure your doctor explained all the side effects. Also make sure the place you are having this done is well prepared for any reaction.
