Been taking vitamin C since early childhood, (1960) My mother a highly intelligent nurse had it prescribed for me by a doctor to help stop horrible throat infections. I had to chew them which was horrible, but it worked. She was a lifelong supporter of "alternative medicine" an R.N. with a B.S. from Boston University, and a nurse educator. I have taken it daily during a 15 year battle with Lyme Disease, and am on the winning side. I would not do without it ever!
