Cold Sores (Herpes Simplex Type 1) and Aloe vera
I have Ocular Herpes. I finally found relief using aloe in my eye. It helped me with the pain, swelling and redness. I use fresh from the plant and for me it is very soothing. I have heard that in some people it causes intense burning before it soothes and they should dilute the aloe gel. I never experienced that reaction.
