I had my second Biopsy yesterday. In November last year I had one needle..it wasn't too bad. Yesterday I was still having problems, so I went again and I had 3 needles. It was very uncomfortable, painful, and wasn't allowed to swallow. The 3 needles were inserted into the nodule separately. When they finished I was bleeding, and was not allowed to get up till it stopped. I was finally taken out into the waiting room, they gave me a cup of tea. I was given no injection prior to the Biopsy to numb the area. I am still very sore, and there is bruising, even to turn my head it feels as though I have a needle still in there!! Difficulty swallowing. I will never agree to have this Biopsy again.
