Melanoma Treatment: Medicine
Thank you for taking the time to post this. I hope you're still doing as well as this post is 11 years after your 11 years. My wife has been diagnosed with stage 1a superficial melanoma on her upper thigh. The oncology surgeon says the biopsy done by the dermatologist has effectively removed the cancer. But, he still wants to remove a couple more centimeters width, and down to the muscle. Is this really necessary?
