I suffer from marfan syndrome, after a heart operation I started to suffer from strong palpitations, once I read in a magazine that a famous artist in Italy cure her self from palpitation with "Biancospino" in English Hawthorn, I visit a homeopathic pharmacy and they confirm to me the properties of this plant, from that day I started to take the drops and miracles happened no more palpitations.
After recognizing that the bulk of pharmaceuticals are made from petrochemicals I am attempting to switch to nature made. Just started hawthorn syrup in hopes future aneurysms will be controlled. Now it's looking to the future to see if this helps or not.

I stay away from 'standardized' versions made synthetically, but totally recommend using the actual herb as tea or tincture. The studies out there are using 'standardized' junk. The herb includes more than they will ever know.

The extract or mother tincture ( homoeopathy ) gives result not only mild congestive heart failure even tracycardia and ischemic heart diseases.

Hi John - I'm 38 and have suddenly after reading up, realized that Marfan syndrome is very likely in my family since everyone in it has very noticeable symptoms. I've had palpitations all my life and a few years ago (before I even knew what Marfan was) decided to try Hawthorn. I haven't had a palpitation since. I am just wondering if Hawthorn is safe for Marfan sufferers. Do you have any info about it? I'm having a hard time finding answers online.
