Would recommend it
I have been suffering from the effects of atrial fibrillation for 2 years and recently undertook cardioversion in an attempt to restore my heart to a normal rhythm. The outcome was unsuccessful so it looks like Im stuck wit ha shortage of energy andf greater risk of MI/Stroke until I have a pacemaker installed. The afore mentioned risk factors are managed by a daily dose of 5mcg Warfarin.

I should have added that I have two decent sized pad burns on my torso which require nightly ointment to quell the sleep disturbing burn/itch being experienced. No one mentioned this prior to treatment.

Would not recommend it
After the procedure which had no affect what so ever, within a few days I was sent to the hospital with bloathing, a strange ichy rash, and several types if infections. I was given intervenous medications for each of the symptoms and a attempt to diagnose the rash without sucess.

Would recommend it
I have been cardioverted 3 times in the past few years. I HIGHLY recommend putting a thick layer of hydrocortizone cream on your back and chest the night before your scheduled procedure. The back burns worse than the chest because laying on your back seems to make the burn worse from the pad. I keep putting on the cream several times each day until the burn is gone.

I have Prinzmetal's Angina for 2 years & AFib in Feb 2013. Had cardioversion after day of meds and it would not go back into rhythm on its own. Worked for AFib but I have had pain in my upper right abdomen & back since then. Xray & blood work showed no problem but its been 6weeks and not any better. Also havin probs with diarrhea since then.

I've had two within two days I still have problems with my heart. I'm scheduled to have another in five days if this doesn't work I will not have another one. A pace make can be installed
